The time has come to communicate that it's over’ experience of Dolci Accenti all’ City of Thiene Music Institute. We are happy to have contributed, in these years of management, to the valorization of ancient music through the Alto Vicentino Ancient Music Festival, with concerts that brought repertoires to the area, historical instruments and sounds, and with the “Baroque Weekends”, educational courses dedicated to young talents to approach baroque performance practice.
Thanks to the kids registered for the "Baroque Weekends", we also managed to create a youth baroque orchestra, which supported and completed the path already started with other active nuclei in Sassari, London and Milan: an experience of musical and human growth that united young musicians through a passion for ancient music.
We hope it comes true, even without our contribution, also the continuation of “Il Classico Sabato”, initiative that will compete, we are certain, to bring the city of Thiene closer to the beauty of live music and concerts.
We would also like to thank all the teachers who, with their precious contribution, have allowed music to be listened to, reproduced and loved. And also a big thank you to the families who welcomed the musical proposals with joy and participation.
Best wishes for good work to the CorOrchestra association, which will continue the path begun within this historic institute.
