Il 2019 represents a very important moment for the Dolci Accenti association as it presents the birth of the first International Festival of ancient music “Note Senza tempo” in the city of Sassari.
Thanks to the precious contribution of the Sardinia Foundation, of some sponsors and to the sensitivity of the institutions, we managed to organize the first edition, a concert season of seven concerts, a masterclass dedicated to ancient music and the participation of around eighty artists, filling a cultural void present in the Sardinian territory, especially Sassari. The protagonists were great musicians of international fame, but also young local talents who are taking their first steps towards professional concert activity. The international scope of the event has given in recent years, outside the Italian borders, a representation of Sardinia that reflects its cultural and architectural aspects, rather than the beauty of its coasts for which it is already known and appreciated.
The Association succeeds in its aim network with the various musical institutions of the island, with the P.L. conservatory. from Palestrina of Cagliari, the conservatory “L. Canepa” of Sassari, the musical high school “D.A. Azuni” Società Bachiana Italiana and numerous other entities as well as with international ancient music festivals such as the Festivalul Baroc of Timisoara (Romania), Brianza festival, European Baroque, ancient music festival of Syracuse and others.
Dal 2022 is a member of the European REMA network which collects more 250 major European early music festivals.
