Archisonanti was born in 2011 from an idea by Stefania Cavedon, Daniel Cernuto, Anna Grendene, Teresa Pante and Massimiliano Varusio, all concert performers and music teachers linked by a relationship of friendship and professional esteem that has lasted for years.

The project, It is aimed at young cellists who want to deepen their knowledge of their instrument, discover its many expressive possibilities and improve your technique. Furthermore, it represents a valid possibility to continue musical studies for those children who, have reached the end of secondary school, wanted to continue growing with the cello. In pursuing these goals, alongside the more traditional individual lessons, preparatory teachers use the most captivating and fun strategy to teach music: play together. They, Indeed, they are convinced that there is no better way to excite students: working in small groups and in orchestras the children have the opportunity, as well as increasing the technical level, to learn a lot even in a “horizontal” way, thanks to collaboration and comparison between peers. The cello, instrument with a particularly rich extension and expressive range, It lends itself well like no other instrument to forming homogeneous ensembles; it adapts with extreme flexibility both to accompaniment parts and to supporting bass lines, to play a rhythmic role and sing all types of melody. Over the years the group has performed on numerous occasions including: The jazz factory (Schio), Municipal Theater of Belluno, Biblical Festival (Vicenza), Sacrofest (Schio), André Auditorium (Napoli).

Archisonants, a stable orchestra of only cellos, represents an almost unique reality in Italy and in the world. As there is essentially no original repertoire for this type of ensemble, the teachers (and even some students) they choose or create original compositions specifically for the group, thus calibrating the difficulties to everyone's level so that everyone has the opportunity to have fun while learning. Alongside these musical considerations, the project aims to enhance the aspects that an activity like this can encourage in the context of socialization: collective commitment and common effort to achieve a result, listening to the other, support for the most vulnerable from the most secure and the possibility of learning in a healthy and informal environment are aspects, On the contrary, values, which few arts can make flourish like music can. And thanks to it Archisonanti finally tries to engage socially thanks to a partnership with the Musica Libera Tutti association, beautiful reality that makes music a weapon of redemption for kids who live in a difficult social context like that of the Neapolitan neighborhood of Scampia. Dal 2023 the project is managed by the musical APS Dolci Accenti which takes care of the entire organisation.
