“dance between and ropes” in tour a Londra. This is the new educational project by Dolci Accenti

We are happy with the project “Dance between the ropes” a project of the Classical Musical and Dance High School "D.A.Azuni" of Sassari coordinated by the APS Musicale Dolci Accenti of Sassari took off in London! “Dance between the ropes” had the merit of involving the IC Pertini-Biasi IC P.Tola and the Conservatory “L. Canepa” of Sassari and of course the musical high school “D.A. Azuni”. The teachers who strongly believed in the project are Calogero Sportato, director of the guitar ensemble and creator of the project and Prof. Cristina Tagliaverga responsible for the dance group that created the choreographies.
Dal 25 al 30 In April the project had the honor of being a guest of one of the most prestigious London musical groups Haringey Music School Service. The Azuni high school students performed a small tour of three concerts at the theaters of Rokesly Junior School, Park View School and Haringey Music School in London, they participated in dance and musical improvisation workshops.
The children hosted by English families had the opportunity to deal with a culture and a social and scholastic organization different from ours and at the same time full of important stimuli. They made their musical and dance qualities appreciated and the show received unanimous approval from the audience.
In October of 2023 our high school will reciprocate the hospitality of a group of 25 young English musicians.
All this was possible thanks to the Deroma Manager who believed in the educational importance of the project and also thanks to the musical APS "Dolci Accenti" which received a contribution from which allowed participation in the London trip.
We will have the opportunity to appreciate the show on Tuesday 30 May at the Astra Theater at 20.00
