The Città di Thiene musical institute is pleased to announce its participation in the World Music Festival Day 2025, An international event that involves hundreds of cities in Italy and in the world, promoting music as a common heritage, UNIVILE AND UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE Tool.
This participation represents a significant milestone: Thiene officially enters the national and European circuit of the music festival, a recognition that enhances the artistic and training activity of the Institute, strengthening the link between the city and the international musical community.
To celebrate the opportunity, Saturday 21 June 2025 at 18.30 at the Fonato auditorium of Thiene (VI), A special ensemble concert will be held “Grave singing”, a formation of cello only composed of:

Serious singing is a project born from the mutual esteem and friendship between its components, who have been dedicating themselves with passion for the repertoire for ensembles of cello for years. The group performs songs written specifically for this particular formation by great composers of the past and constantly enriches its repertoire thanks to personal transcriptions and arrangements.
Serious singing musicians are also the founders of one of the first Italian youth ensembles of only cello only: Archisonants, Born in collaboration with Teresa Pante, Anna Grendene and Anna Campagnaro. The project brought together over one hundred and twenty young cellists in thirteen years, offering them dozens of original scores and developing an innovative teaching methodology, based on the individual study aimed at playing together. Many of the then boys are today estimated professionals in the Italian music scene.
Active in numerous Italian and foreign ensembles, Serious singing musicians are also teachers in state schools, engaged in the formation of new generations with dedication and competence.
The concert will close the concert season "The classic Saturday", The first classical spring review of the Music Institute Città di Thiene, organized thanks to the co-planning with ATS M.U.S.I.C.A. and the Municipality of Thiene.
